AFRICAN UNION TO LOOK INTO ABUSES PERPETRATED AGAINST AFRICANS
AU is also to hold a meeting concerning slavery perpetrated against Africans and other inhuman abuses such as those experienced by the Kenyans and other African states during the colonial era. Our human rights group is pushing for this under the theme ,'JUSTICE FOR AFRICA AT LAST’. Any abuses perpetrated against Africans during colonization are to be revisited and compensation has to be paid .Just like Germany ,she paid all the reparations after the world war. She did not deny any responsibilities. If Germany humbled herself like that, then the other European countries should do the same. They should show remorse of their evil deeds with no ‘BUT’ because there is good evidence that that these crimes took place in Africa. These are not vexatious claims. In this our Human Rights Organization will not sit on its laurels. We will ensure that an APOLOGY for slavery is made by those that were involved and other crimes against humanity that were unleashed against Africans. Europe does not hesitate to take action against Africans if any crime against humanity is perpetrated .This should be the case with Africa. ‘ALL ARE EQUAL DESPITE THEIR SKIN COLOUR and THEIR GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION’. For slavery ,the word ‘SORRY’ would indeed be sufficient to heal the sores of slavery. Therefore those that involved themselves in the trade of other humans must apologize profoundly and unreservedly.[including abuses during colonization of Africa].More so the money owed to Africa by any state should be paid in whole or at least in part. This way every black person will not have any grudges against the perpetrators of these heinous crimes aforementioned.
