The State led by Revai Mudozori proved that on December 27, Honest Zugumi was at a local bottle store in Budiriro around 9pm having drinks with his colleagues.
Makore then struck Zugumi with a bottle on his head for no apparent reason.
Makore then tried to run away and he was caught when he was seeking a way out of the bottle store.
After realising he had been hurt, Zugumi lodged a complaint which led to Makore’s arrest.
