ZANU-PF agents in uniformed forces get double salaries

ZIMBABWE-HARARE-Zimbabwe’s secret agents planted in the country’s uniformed forces have been awarded a double salary from the rest of the civil servants as a reward for the job they did during the 2008 Presidential polls.
Salaries have been hiked by US$150 and are expected to get paid by Friday. “Most of these people are planted as security agents of the state yet they are doing work for Zanu (PF). We have suffered a lot of victimisation at the hands of these agents.
“They were awarded some $150 each In the name of clothing allowances but the truth of the matter is that they are being rewarded for their job they carried out during the much contested 2008 presidential elections.
“If it is true that these are genuine allowances then why would the Minister award just US$8 for housing allowances and US$9 as transport allowance while awarding that much in clothing allowances yet we do receive uniforms,” said a source in the Zimbabwe Republic Police.
The source said in the Prisons department, the security section were the beneficiaries of the suspicious deal. Most members of that section, if not all, were directly involved in the 2008 Zanu (PF) terror campaign.
“All the Prison officers in the security department were awarded the money. They are the ones who participated in the 2008 violence. “I’m not sure if the Finance Minister is aware of this arrangement. Most of these people who are in this department are Zanu (PF) agents and not real prison officers.
“We have also fallen victims to these guys from the so called security department, they don’t want us to discuss MDC (Movement for Democratic Change) issues but they discuss their Zanu (PF) issues openly.
When you discuss issues related to the MDC, they tell us we are talking politics but when one discusses Zanu (PF) issues, no one challenges that. This is a complete violation to freedom of expression,” said another source in the Zimbabwe Prison Service.
Another source in the Zimbabwe National Army also indicated that his organisation had not been spared of the ‘unacceptable’
arrangement.
“Members of our Zimbabwe Intelligent Corps (ZIC) have also been awarded that double salary and we wonder what’s going on in the organisation”.
The 2008 presidential elections were marred by terrorism and violence perpetrated by members of Zanu (PF) and left over 200 MDC supporters dead and others displaced.
The MDC is a toothless bulldog. How can they let such violations go on. Why is Biti letting ZANU award pay increses to these mascreants. He should publicly speak against this and refuse to endorse such move.
i think u jojo need to understand mashandiro ehurumende biti s job is not to work out salaries he just make a budjet it is up to each ministry to decide what to pay and who to pay he can not tell the ministry of defence how to spent the money he budget them for so if they decide to do that mdc have no say cause they dont control that ministry
You might be right itai but I might just need a little bit more enlightenment on that. I don't really know the workings of government you see, and you seem to know exactly what you talking about. My understanding was, PLEASE don't quote me on this; My understanding was when a government awards a pay increase to it's civil servants, the level of pay rises is decided not by each individual ministry per se, but by some other government body–Peharps a collective of ministers. Then by the time each ministry gets its allocation of the budget they don't have to be deciding how much to be paying the employees as this has already been decided. I don't know you could be right itai because you seem to know exactly what you talking about.

Some are those people who by day will be tearing those tissues in the public toilets wearing Harare City Council overalls….you and me mouthing off whilst taking a pee…. and they report to HQ about what is going on…meanwhile we just disappear into thin air…..That Zim for you. Seriously think about this….in each department…public or private…workplace…playplace.educational institution…everywhere….These gooks have a flipping eye and ear and in our own bedrooms..kangaidze your wife neighbours , cousin , brother and kid is a bloody informer of this illegal, illegitimate, crazy, warped regime….Im afraid to think about this…their next recruiting ground are the creches..and lastly…those kids still in their mother's wombs…I shudder on that thought…life is tough…I only hope God just speed up the process and Whisk them away before time!!!!!
This is exactly why the MDC should take a public stance in denouncing these actions. These things used to happen when they were in opposition, now they're in government the violation s are are still carrying-on under their very noses. To be in government don't mean to say they should stop criticising. That' why I have called toothless bulldogs.

Mdc were very vocal b4 joining the Govt….Now they enjoy the perks and stuff…and by the way ..there is a saying…Power Corrupts….eih?! They are corrupt already and toothless as well….Mahwani!!!!…clothing allowance is for C.I.D. pisi and so on for buying civvies although this is not absolutely necessary……money wasting gimmick…when the Police actually has to save money allocated to them….. what a Fukcen Liberty!!!!aaaarg!

those ministries have been allocated their budgets already and are now abusing the funds the way they like, even Hon Minister Biti cannot do anything now. God will never let down his people, this is only a time of testing our faith in Him{God}. we will pass it and then we can enjoy the fruits of our Faith. Mugabes are now going one by one
Siyananayi ne MDC aya ndiwomaitiro ezanu pf so why kuda kupomera MDC. Lets wait and see what will after staff audit.
