Junta uses church leaders in propaganda blitz

ZIMBABWE — HARARE - President Robert Mugabe’s Zanu (PF) government has enlisted the services of church leaders to give credence and legitimacy to President Robert Mugabe’s stolen re-election.
Political analysts say it is part of a Soviet-style plan where government uses subversion, and infiltration of all civic and cultural organisations, including churches in a Marxist-Leninist strategy to win legitimacy.
Communists only use churches and church leaders for propaganda purposes.
Zimbabweans are questioning the sincerity and Christian commitment of so-called pastors, prophets, bishops and reverends who have been paraded on national television ad nauseum ad infinitum recently, publicly condoning plain acts of savagery by Zanu (PF), casting aspersions on the MDC leadership, and also trying to use the Bible to support their perverted theology that Mugabe should be life president.
Elizabeth Chinouriri is just one fly-by-night pastor in the habit of spewing heretical nonsense on TV that it was the appropriate time for Zanu (PF) to use black reverends and the church of Jesus Christ to fight the enemy using the word of God.
Elizabeth is reported to be a former commercial sex worker, eager to join the gravy train for accomodation in Zanu (PF)'s structures of government.
"She is a gold digger," said one of her close friends, adding she was willing to go all the way with anyone who pays.
Another pastor from a shadowy church called Tehila Ministries has been harping on and on about God-given leadership, suggesting Mugabe was God-ordained to rule Zimbabwe for life. He is said to be a CIO operative with the spy network's internal division.
The pastors have also weighed in the on-going power-sharing talks between Zimbabwe’s political rivals, but all the time blaming MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai for holding the nation to ransom by refusing to sign a power-sharing deal set to make him a lame duck prime minister in its current form.
Tsvangirai has said its better to have no deal than to have a bad deal.
The pastors that have been enlisted for the Zanu (PF) propaganda blitz all parrot the defeated party’s tired mantras that there was an imperialist plot by Western countries to recolonise the country through the MDC and subsequently cause “illegal regime change.”
It is hard to believe that this unholy gibberish comes from a person who claims to be a born-again child of the Lord Jesus Christ, complained Samuel Moyo of Harare.
The pastors, including Ghanaian pastor Odama Ansa, sound more like the overkill type of propaganda from the pen of George Charamba, Mugabe’s propaganda chief.
The pastors are all said to be on Zanu (PF)'s payroll and are paid handsomely for their services, a source said.
