ZIMBABWE – Jonathan Nhete, 35, was initially slapped with 15months before three months were suspended on condition he does not commit a similar offence in the next five years.
Nhete appeared before Harare magistrate Francis Mapfumo.
Allegations were that on December 25 Nhete went to Nomore Garabwe’s house and stole a Jialing 125 motorbike which was parked outside the house.
Garambwe went to lodge a police complaint after he discovered that his motor bike was missing.
Nhete was later arrested when the police details went to his house to arrest him on another case of unlawful entry when they saw the motorbike parked at his house.
