BREAKING: Chin’ono and Ngarivhume’s long wait to freedom continues

HARARE – The long wait to freedom for Hopewell Chin’ono and Jacob Ngarivhume continues after the court today reserved the handing down of the judgements on both of the bail appeal cases.

They are both facing charges of inciting public violence and have so far been denied bail on three separate occasions since they were arrested more than a month ago.

Hopewell Chin’ono : Justice Chitapi who is now presiding over the matter has indicated that he will hand down his ruling on Wednesday 2 September 2020 at 2:15pm.

Jacob Ngarivhume: Justice Musithu reserved judgement in Jacob Ngarivhume’s bail appeal. Ruling to be handed down early to mid-next week. More to follow…
