HARARE – Zimbabweans have intensified calls for President Emmerson Mnangagwa to dismiss his deputy Kembo Mohadi.
Mohadi was this week caught in sex scandals involving married women, including a subordinate.
In one of the said recordings, he (Mohadi) is heard talking about having office sex with one of the ladies.
The main opposition MDC Alliance issued a statement demanding accountability for his conduct which they described as “unbecoming of a person holding high office.”
“We demand accountability for this conduct unbecoming of a person ‘holding high office.’ The allegations raised here are serious especially given the abuse of state offices, state resources and improper use of state time. The fitness and propriety of Mohadi is called into question,” read part of the statement.
Zimbabweans on social media have called for his dismissal, labelling him a sex predator who is using his influence to prey on vulnerable women.
