CHIKURUBI – Prison officials Monday barred President Chamisa from visiting Citizen’s Coalition for Change champion, hon Job Sikhala , Chitungwiza North legislature hon Godfrey Sithole and 11 others from Nyatsime who are incarcerated on trumped up inciting violence charges.
Speaking to Zimbabwe Daily, CCC deputy Spokesperson, Ostalos Siziba said the Prison officers denied the change champion in chief access because he was a high profile individual who needed approval from the highest offices.

“Very unfortunate that the President was not allowed to visit the 13 comrades. The instruction we got is that President Chamisa was a high profile politician and can only be cleared by the President or the Commissioner General, something which is not in the law of this country and we are going to be engaging the highest office in terms of the prisons to make sure we gain access to our comrades,” Siziba said.
Hon Sikhala and others have been in prison for more than 30 days.
The thirteen are Hon Job Sikhala, Hon Godfrey Sithole, Precious Jeche , Adious Makoma, Misheck Guzha, Shepherd Bulakazi, Tatenda Pindahama, Enock Tsoka, Emmanuel Muradzikwa ,Chauya Shopa, Roan Tsoka, Zephania Chinembiri and Zecks Makoni.

“These heroes and champions of Change have been in and out of court with bail denial being the default judgment after every long presentations of compelling reasons showing otherwise,” Siziba added.
There have been reports in the previous weeks that Jeche was assaulted by prison guards and the issue was being taken up by lawyers representing the arrested Nyatsime resident.
