HARARE – Main opposition leader Nelson Chamisa has paid tribute to the health workers who have continued to work hard as the country battles with the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Writing on his Twitter, Chamisa said the doctors and nurses were brave soldiers who are fighting day and night to save lives.
“Life is precious. The virus must fall. We salute our Doctors & Nurses, the brave soldiers who fight day and night to save lives. Focused leadership, strategy, & prayer will see us thru. It’s a national fight. Together we WIN. Always for a better Zimbabwe.Blessed Sabbath to u!#MaskUpZim,” said Chamisa.

To date, the country has recorded over 30 000 positive cases and more than 900 Covid-19 related deaths.
The MDC Alliance has continued to call for a united front in fighting the pandemic.
