HARARE – Simba Chikore, who is the son – in- law to the late former President, Robert Mugabe has been summoned to court facing allegations of acquiring security services from Safeguard without following proper tender procedures.
These allegations are linked to his time at the National Airline, where he was the the Chief Operations Officer.
It is alleged that Chikore paid US$16 445 for the services instead of the recommended US$10 000.
In 2019, Chikore was acquitted of charges of unlawfuly detaining one Bertha Zakeyo, who was an employee at Zimbabwe Airways.
