ZIMBABWE – Tsiga told the court that Tome wanted to run away from the fact that he is turning their neighbourhood into a hide out of thieves.
“I cannot just sit and watch him turn our neighbourhood into a thieves play ground,” said Tsiga.
“When he came to Kuwadzana to open a car park, we were glad because we thought it will create employment for most of our jobless youths.
“This wish did not happen because the place is now a hangout joint for thieves and we cannot travel freely during the evening because of robbers who will be armed.
“Your worship, please do not grant this man the peace order because he is making Kuwadzana a resident for thieves and armed robbers, he must leave the area and locate elsewhere,” he said.
Tome who was seeking peace with Tsinga had told the court that Tsinga was dumping his garbage at the car park thereby making it a health time bomb.
He said Tsinga was also using his car park as a burial place for his dogs, cats and fowls.
“The respondent has also cultivated in my car park and he is refusing to remove his dirt on my property,” Tome said.
Presiding magistrate Marehwanazvo Gofa ordered Tsinga to keep peace with Tome and refrain from dumping his trash at the car park.
