Eswatini – Eswatini Prime Minister Ambrose Dlamini has died after testing positive for Covid-19.
He was 52.
Deputy Prime Minister Themba Masuku made the announcement on Sunday.
“Their Majesties have commanded that I inform the Nation of the sad and untimely passing away of His Excellency the Prime Minister Ambrose Dlamini. His Excellency passed on this afternoon while under medical care in a hospital in South Africa.
“Government in collaboration with the family will keep the nation informed of subsequent arrangements,” said Masuku in a statement.

Dlamini tested positive for Covid-19 four weeks ago and was airlifted to the neighbouring South Africa for treatment.
