HARARE – A promising bowling performance by Zimbabwe was not enough as Pakistan took the lead by securing a win in the first T20 International at Harare Sports Club today.
After winning the toss, the hosts sent Pakistan to bat and opening batsman Mohammad Rizwan hit an impressive 82 runs not out helping the visitors post 147 runs in their 20 overs.
However, Zimbabwe’s batting fell short as they posted 137 in 20 overs ultimately losing the contest by 11 runs.
