HARARE – High Court judge Justice Davison Foroma today indefinitely reserved his judgement on Allan Moyo’s bail appeal.
Moyo, a University of Zimbabwe student was arrested on 7 December last year for inciting the public to commit violence after he allegedly urged the public to revolt against Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government.
The State alleges that on the 3rd of July 2020, Moyo incited some commuters at Copacabana bus terminus by telling them to revolt against the current government because it had failed the country.
Moyo’s appeal was initially postponed last week, with his lawyer saying there were some issues with his court records.
Moyo has also filed an urgent application demanding the government to address the prison conditions.
