HARARE – Controversial and self proclaimed prophet, Passion Java has taken a swipe at veteran journalist, Hopewell Chino’no in response to the latter’s comments about today’s youth focus on socialites instead of critical issues that affect their lives.
Java seems to have not taken the comments lightly and resorted to subtle insults in response, labeling Chino’no “a failed journalist who is looking for NGO donations through attacking citizens and politicians.”
Yesterday, Chino’no drew comparisons on the number of followers between young activist, Namatai Kwekweza and the controversial cleric Java.
“Now this defines the bankruptcy of today’s youths! On the left is an activist fighting for a better future for these youths, on the right is a comedian “prophet.”
“The numbers of followers define the uselessness of today’s youths and their lack of political consciousness. Tragic,” wrote Chino’no on his Twitter account.
