HARARE – Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Sibusiso B. Moyo has died, with reports saying he succumbed to Covid-19.
He was 61.
Moyo became popular in Zimbabwe when he became the face of the November 2017 “coup” which ultimately led to the ouster of long time President Robert Mugabe.
He was subsequently retired and appointed Foreign Affairs Minister.
Reports also say he had been battling a kidney ailment for some time.
Moyo was husband to Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission Chairperson Justice Loice Matanda Moyo.
