ZIMBABWE – The bar seems to be rising for Lady Storm as she is set to share the stage with sungura giant Alick Macheso at Werras Sports Bar at Glen View 1 Shops.

Although Lady Storm is not a ‘new-comer’ to the joint, it is the first time the singer will be performing there.

Show organiser, Boss Werras, said it will be a memorable event as Macheso is expected to play tracks off his forth-coming album Tsoka Dzerwendo.

“It is the first time for Alick Macheso and his Orchestra Mberikwazvo to perform in Glen View.

“He is also expected to play his new songs from the forthcoming album and it is also the first time that he shares the stage with Lady Storm in Glen View.

“This is also an opportunity for Lady Storm to prove that she can make it into the top league.

“People should attend the show in numbers,” he said.

Orchestra Mberikwazvo public relations manager Tich Makahamadze promised the best.

“We have been known for providing the best whenever we are on stage.

“Quality is our language. We are sprucing up our album which we expect to give to our fans very soon.

“We felt our fans in Glen View should also have a feel of the songs and have a word or two before its release.

“Our aim is to give our best and we can only achieve that through listening tom our fans like those in Glen View and its surrounds,” he said.
