NORTON – Outspoken Norton member of parliament Temba Mliswa has blasted the government’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic particularly expressing concern over the lack of funds availed towards the purchasing of the vaccine.
Melissa said he was anxious with how the government will deliver the vaccine considering how they have so far failed to provide a testing plan.
“Government is talking about vaccines coming but with how it has failed to roll out a simpler testing plan I am apprehensive. Where is funding from; there was nothing in the budget. Is it the Global Fund? More needs to be said so that we understand what is really going on,” said Mliswa.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa today said the country will soon start the vaccination process, however, did not say how much of the vaccine the country will acquire and where it will come from.
There has been strong criticism towards how the government has been handling the pandemic with some health experts saying the measures taken by the government were lacking scientific backing.
