HARARE – Magistrate Ngoni Nduna today granted bail to three of Henrietta Rushwaya’s accomplices who are accused of being part of a syndicate that was involved in the former ZIFA boss’ attempt to smuggle 6kgs of gold out of the country.
Stephen Tserai, Raphios Mufandauya and Gift Karanda were released on Z$30 000 bail each, joining fellow accomplices Rushwaya and Ali Mohammed who are already out on bail.
The trio was arrested following investigations revealed that they were part of a wide network that was working with Rushwaya when she tried to smuggle gold worth over $300 000.
