KIGALI – Rwanda President, Paul Kagame has appointed nineteen year old Patrick Nkuriza as the Country’s minister of new Technologies and Development.
The latest appointment of one of Africa’s youngest Minister comes at a time when many African nations are resisting the rise of the young.
The young minister obtained his baccalaureate at the age of 14 and subsequently obtained his doctorate in digital telecommunications engineering.
He has already developed several applications that are improving efficiency in various economic activities in Rwanda.
The young minister is still staying with his parents after turning down an offer to stay at a government assigned residence.
He continues to lead a normal teanage life, playing football with age mates in his neighborhood.
