Kenya – MDC-T leader Mr Morgan Tsvangirai arrived in Nairobi, Kenya on Thursday accompanied by party officials Mrs Theresa Makone, Mr Jameson Timba and other high ranking officials.
He is scheduled to address the National Convention for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) today.
Tsvangirai was received at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by the Minister for Public Health who is also the Secretary General for the ODM, Anyang Nyong’o.
The PM would hold a briefing with Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Friday, before heading to the ODM National Convention to make a special address, his party said.
Tsvangirai’s visit, the party claims, should boost bilateral relations through engaging the business community in Nairobi with a view to luring investment opportunities and enhancing trade and economic co-operation between Kenya and Zimbabwe.
