SWITZERLAND – After some confusion on Monday, the last 16 draw for the UEFA Champions League for the 2021/22 season was eventually conducted successfully.
UEFA announced Monday that they had to redo the draw following a technical problem with the software of an external service provider that instructs the officials as to which teams are eligible to play each other.
It said a material error occurred in the draw and as a result, the draw had to be declared void and was redone at 15:00 CET.
Below are the results from the final draw:
(1) Paris Saint Germain (PSG) v Real Madrid
(2) Villarreal v Juventus
(3) Atletico v Manchester United
(4) Salzburg v Bayern Munch
(5) Inter Milan v Liverpool
(6) Sporting v Manchester City
(7) Chelsea v Lille
(8) Benfica v Ajax
