HARARE – The ruling Zanu-PF party has defied the current level four national lockdown regulations, calling for the convening of their politburo members at the party headquarters in Harare.
In a statement, party spokesperson Simon Khaya Moyo said the meeting will be held on Wednesday 10 February 2021 and will start at 10 am.
“The Secretary for Administration Cde Dr. O.M Mpofu wishes to advise all members that there shall be a politburo meeting to be held on Wednesday, 10 February 2021 at the party Headquarters commencing 1000 hours. All members should be seated by 0945 hours sharp,” said Moyo.

Zimbabwe is currently under level four lockdown with gatherings banned and travel restricted only to essential services.
Last week, Zanu-PF Bindura North legislator held a rally sparking widespread criticism from the public about the selective application of the law.
