HARARE – Zimbabwe is set to host Pakistan in a five-match series in April-May with Harare Sports Club slated to be the only venue to be used for the series.
The series will be played in a bio-secure bubble – meaning the strictest measures will be taken to reduce the risks of the players and everyone involved from contracting Covid-19.
This means the teams will be isolated from the outside world while no fans will be allowed for the duration of the matches.
As a result, only support staff will be allowed access to the players and the premises and will be expected to undergo regular Covid-19 tests during the two.
The series will be made up of three T20i games and two-Test series.
Pakistan is expected to arrive in the country on the 17th of April with the three T20I matches slated for 21, 23 and 25 April.
The first Test match is expected to start on the 29th of April.
Zimbabwe Cricket will also ensure other safety measures are put in place including regular temperature checks, sanitisation and daily disinfection of the premises.
