Zimbabwe Independent deputy editor passes on

The late Stewart Chabwinja

Chabwinja died in the early hours of Thursday.

A humble and spirited gentleman, Chabwinja joined Alpha Media Holdings in 2002 as a sub-editor for The Standard before moving up the ladder in 2008, to become the Chief Sub-Editor for AMH’s business weekly, The Zimbabwe Independent.

In March 2012, he was appointed the Assistant editor for the Zimbabwe Independent,a position he held until his time of death.
