ZIMBABWE – Albert Chimbwada’ s hands started to shake from fright after his former wife Diana Mhlanga sued him for U$300 for the upkeep of four children.
“I am an eco cash agent and earning not more than U$60 per month.
“I can afford to give her U$50 every month because I have another wife and child.
“I love my children so much but right now I do not have money.
“She refused to the idea I suggested that the children should learn at schools in the rural area, where I can afford to pay school fees.
“This month I gave her 100 for school fees which I got from my relatives, he said.
In response Diana said:
“I need U$300 for my children.
“I just want him to pay school fees for his children, since we separated in 2008 he was not supportive,” she said.
Magistrate Trevor Nyatsanga order Chimbwada to pay U$75 per month.
