CANADA – Zimbabwean Guinness World Record Holder, Lucy Ruth, has launched an online platform iSubsahara aimed at promoting business and tourism on the African continent. The Canada-based author said the digital magazine, which is courtesy of iPublish House, is aimed at putting Africa on the world map. In an interview, Lucy said the first issue will be published on April 28.
“We have launched this platform to promote business, tourism, culture, hospitality and social issues, affecting Africa.
“The idea is to put Africa on the international map for good reasons.
“I feel we need to be the voice of those who cannot stand up for themselves and I am passionate about equal opportunities for all and the empowerment of all people.
“I have the vision to empower young African men and women to believe in themselves and chase their dreams.”
Lucy, who is a 5X International best-selling author, is the CEO and co-founder of Celestial Recruitment Solutions, a company that was founded during the pandemic
Lucy is also a motivational speaker, youth mentor and award-winning business leader.
iPublish House is a book publishing company which helps writers publish and get recognised at an international level.
Having lived and worked on three continents – Africa, Europe and North America – Lucy has been exposed to different cultures and experiences.
While customs vary, she has seen a common thread in every place she has lived – the challenges people face are the same.
