ZIMBABWE – A minor child was injured while sitting on her father’s lap when the father lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree near Braeside Primary School on Monday.
Nomatter Mudhakwa nearly knocked down a Braeside Primary School pupil as he battled to control his Mazda B2200 registration (ADA 6131) with other two passengers on board, who also got injured.
Eye witnesses suggested Nomatter was speeding.
“This driver was speeding as you can see and there are also beer bottles in his vehicle which might mean he was drinking; this is bad considering that he was passing through a school,” said one of the parents collecting her child.
“I think there is need for a speed hump or else pupils’ lives will be at risk,” she added.
