HARARE – Stanbic Bank has appointed experienced banker Tafadzwa Mahachi as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), replacing Solomon Nyanhongo who was recently elevated to the Chief Executive (CE) position.
Mahachi is a Chartered Accounted and holds Bachelor of Accounting Science Honours (Hons BCompt) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Auditing.
Board Chairman, Gregory Sebborn said Mahachi will also be joining the company’s Board as an Executive Director.
“I am pleased to announce the promotion of Tafadzwa Mahachi to the role of Chief Financial Officer and Executive Board Member of Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe, effective 1 March 2021,” said Sebborn.
Mahachi has been with Stanbic Bank since 2008 and before the current appointment, he was serving as the organization’s Head of Finance.
