ZIMBABWE – Being a family man, the lanky performer will this Sunday return to Jongwe Corner where he is set to cement his romance with merry-makers of all age groups.
Buoyed by his triumph at the 15th edition of the National Arts Merit Awards where he banged two gongs – Outstanding Musician and Album respectively – the 28-year-old crooner has every reason to be ecstatic as he returns to hais favourite hunting for a mammoth family show.
The innovative crooner, who has since caused the school uniform craze, takes the concept to this side of H-Town as the new euphoria reaches fever pitch.
And being the main man in town gyrating on a Sunday, revellers are in for a rare treat as the entertainer keeps the fire burning.
By now, merry-makers should be aware that all the fun will be happening at Jongwe Corner where he is known for attracting hordes of fans.
As he returns to Jongwe Corner this Sunday, he will do so with majesty alongside Mbare bred chanter Kinna.
Jah Prayzah’s promise
Despite all the fame he enjoys, the 28-year-old remains humble as he preaches the gospel of love, peace and harmony.
“I can’t wait to meet my fans this Sunday, especially kids who love my stuff. To be honest I am so humbled by their support which keeps me going.
“I will be celebrating the my NAMA victory at this particular show alongside my fans,” he says.
Kinna Factor
Better known as Mr Mbare, the chanter has been loyal to Jah Prayza, sharing the stage with the red hot entertainer on many occasions.
Their combination has also been held as both chanters are known for energy sapping acts.
Kinna will be unveiling new stuff at this show set to attract hordes of fans from Team JP and ghetto yutes.
Banyana Bafana magic
This popular ensemble is still in the game and fans ought to be a Jongwe Corner as they set the ball rolling at the joint this evening.
Captained by DJ Danny of the yakadaro fame, the group has managed to hold fort despite still competition.
MC Gudo and fellow wheel-spinners
Popular club emcee-cum dancer, MC Gudo headlines the Tshisa Nyama sessions this tomorrow when he plays at this joint.
He shares the stage with DJ Torne, Fitzroy and Frank Vibes.
