HARARE – Warriors coach, Zdravko Logarusic has announced a 34 – man provisional squad for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) slated for next year in Cameron.
Cameron will host the tournament next year from January 16 to February 17 2021.
Chan is reserved for locally based players only so as to allow them the opportunity to showcase their talent at the biggest stage in the continent.
The squad is set to go for a team camp on 6 December, 2020 until 20 December 2020 before breaking for the festive season. They will then regroup on the 28th of December until they depart for Cameron.
Zimbabwe are in Group A and will face the hosts Cameron, Mali and Burkina Faso.
The Warriors will likely play friendly games against local clubs including FC Platinum and Dynamos before leaving for the continental show piece.
